If you put in a blue chip special x pump it has added timing advance built into the pump. If you are running level 9 on the smarty it adds timing so now you have more timing then you used to. level 8 is the same as 9 but without the added timing.

I agree on the inline mount turbo. I had a turbo mount eb on my 99 then I upgraded the turbo so now i have turbo mount eb setting in a box on the shelf and pac brake inline mount on the truck.the turbo mount was also a pac brake and have never had any problems with either one. Francis

It may not be blow by. The vacum pump exhaust is into the crankcase. If you have a broken vacum line it will smoke alot out the crankcase vent and build up alot of pressure in the crankcase. Francis
