Very true, even w/o salt/snow exposure. Had a very common locking pin that would not open at all w/the key after maybe 2 yrs of install. disappointing thing is I learned from a trailer shop employee that all it takes is a couple of whacks w/a 3lb hammer and that shaft will snap right off. Mine...
I was getting a single ding sound w/a message "service air filter soon" or thereabouts. This after changing to the filter. Followed the mentioned video & there it was....almost completely collapsed cheap cardboard hose. Pretty much cut like MCM did. No more probs.
Anyone know what happened to Moog? They used to be considered vastly superior to OEM but I
keep seeing more & more complaints about them. Did some Chinese co buy them out for their

Now I'm seeing both sizes available for 2012-18. Heres just one distributor of many...
https://www.carid.com/2015-ram-2500-lug-nuts-locks/ listing both sizes. Anyway Mopar part # is
6509866AA and description of than part never mentions actual stud diameter or pitch
As far as the stud size, we have 9/16 X 18 on both 2500 & 3500. Interchanging a 14mm X 1.5 will seem to work but they are a little looser than the 9/16. I've stripped the knurling on 3 studs getting these mixed up.
Possibly, but I've yet to hear/read/see anyone ticketed for this conversion which by now has to be in the tens of 1000s.
HIDs are practically required after seeing that glowing birthday candle Ram calls halogen headlights.
