What are common issues I can check before I pull the pan?
I know the gauge on the dash isn't accurate, I put a mechanical gauge and at least I know the gauge is telling me I have a problem.
I've had this pickup for 20 years, 362k, great truck, runs perfect, looks better.
Thanks guys
My truck has intake and 4" strait pipe exh. I have an adrenaline that stays on 1 unloaded and L3 when loaded. This is my daily driver and not a hotrod. I drive like an old man. With that being said my truck is rolling over on 200k and I think I should change injectors this time when I run the...
Under any circumstance when my truck shifts into 4th gear lockup, I get a funny vibration in my feet. I let off the throttle a hair, tach lowers 100rpm and all goes away. Also in third when pulling transmission shutters ubder load. Any suggestions? Adrenaline set on L3 or 1 all the time. Basically stock.
i will try
I will try various idea's I have. And get back with ya'll. I think it has to do with timing and or fueling/timing. I just don't think it's in the transmission. I had the hunting problem, installed the filter and works flawlessly now. At least I don't think it has anything to do with TC...
me too
I have this same problem. Mine is not hunting I have already fixed that. I just firgured it was the adrenaline. Level 1 I drive in all the time because it does not do it as bad. But level 2 and up. If you are on the highway and say let off of it to keep a certain speed it bucks and if...
sounds good
What about the fuel delivery systems should I be looking for an 04. 5 or later for reliability on parts or does it matter? I know the lift pump is on the block for the 04 where is it on an 05.
I am selling my 99 24v. And getting a crew cab for more room. Fellow TDR members I ask year what year and trans do I want. I have to have 3/4 ton 4x4 03 to 06. I know there were some differences in these years. Just never kept up with them because they did not pertain to me at the time. Any help...
Mmmmm
Ok, my brain is back. Lost it for a while. The map reads intake pressure so it does read actuall boost on thepulse. But it is to jerky to set equipement by. Installed a low side HVAC gauge and was able to read acurate boost. Set at 30PSI on level 5. Did notice on stock setting that it...
i know now
Guess I should let everyone know. It came to me as soon as I got about 15mph and was only at 2psi boost. You can not set a boost elbow with the digital gauge from the adrenaline. It reads it from the map sensor and appaerently it reads what the computer on my truck see's. Started...
thank you all
I will try and get it dialed in a day or two and let ya'll know how well that goes. From reading your post's I will try to have max pressure at 30-32psi. I guess while I am at it"" I know what I am going to here but I do not have a mechanical boost gauge all I have is the pulse...
it's from source
I probably have it about 3 turns open new so we will see what it does. I know I have seen it but what psi should I have at max. I am not drag racing. Just like to feel the power every once in a while. Do not want to be pushing limits of stock turbo or head gasket. Just a safe...
