    Airdog any complaints?

I have been using one for about 4 years without any problems. :)

I need serious help diagnosing a problem with my 03 2500.

Did you dealers check the crank position sensor and cam position sensors? My truck had a bad crank position sensor and had symptoms to what you described (e. g. stumblimg) for quite a while before throwing any codes. My crank position sensor was probably working intermittently before going...

    03 SO stumble

P0335 is a code for a Crank Position Sensor Malfunction (CPS). Funny thing happened when my CPS went bad. I had codes P0628, P0469 and P0633 which I have no idea what they are for. The dealer somehow determined that they were all related to CPS going bad. I guess the dealer has a secret code...

    03 SO stumble

Mt truck had a similar problem and it turned out to be the crank position sensor.

    Bypass or Remote Filters

I have an oilguard unit installed on my truck and don't have any problems with the oil pressure. I do have some buzzing but my oil is clean as new with almost 3000 miles.

    2003 HO 6 Speed Won't start!!

I don't think your problem is with the fuel rail or lift pump because you indicated that the truck runs fine once it is started with starting fluid. I think you have a problem in the starting circuit. Did anyone check the camshaft position (CMP) and crankshaft position sensor (CKP)? These...

03 stalls at idle please help ..............

About a year back my truck did the same thing your truck is doing. The idle would drop a couple hundred rpm and then return to 750 rpm (stumble). Only once in a while the truck would die at idle. Like your truck, my truck did not show any fault codes when the problem happened. I took my truck to...

    Is AIRDOG kaput?

Thank you for the part numbers. My AirDog has been installed for about 2 1/2 years and have not had any problems with it. My stock fuel filter has been much cleaner since I installed the AirDog. I also wired my AirDog with a bypass switch so that I can run the AirDog to filter the fuel when...

    Is AIRDOG kaput?

blacksheepdiesel, Do you know the Fleetguard part numbers for the AirDog filters? Shipping costs from Missouri to Hawaii are outrageous so I'd like to switch to the Fleetguard filters to get way from the shipping costs (we have a Cummins dealer here).

    Is AIRDOG kaput?

AirDogs are now sold by PureFlow Technologies, Inc. (their wbsite is www.pureflow technologies.com). They have a license agreement with Charles Ekstam for the system and sell it as PF100. They have the replacement filters and will service customers that purchased AirDogs from Ekstam Workdwide.

    fuel system upgrades

Observed Fuel System Upgrade Benefits with an AirDog Sorry for the late reply. I installed an AirDog on my 2003 and have noticed about a hand calculated 1 mpg increase (combined city and highway driving), a smoother idle and a much cleaner stock fuel filter. I have also wired my AirDog...

    AirDog Owners Please Read.

When I installed an AirDog on my 2003, I removed the lift pump and put the tank end of the stock fuel line into a can to catch the fuel left in the line. I blew out the line with compressed air and then capped the two ends of the stock fuel line. I used a rubber cap that I got from NAPA and a...

    2003 HO sumbles when cold

Your stumbling sounds similar to the stumbling I experienced with my engine cold. You could have a cam position or crank position sensor going bad. I think there was another post reporting stumbling with a warm engine which turned out to be a bad cam or crank position sensor. My truck initially...

    2003 HO sumbles when cold

My stumbling problem has finally been fixed. The cam position sensor went bad and ECM required reprogramming. The cam position sensor is used primarily during start ups and is used as a secondary sensor after the engine is running for a while. A replacement cam position sensor was not available...

    Fuel Gauge Problem

Blu-meanie, Does your fuel gauge drop to empty with-in a few seconds with less than a half tank of fuel? My fuel gauge drops really fast (i. e. from 1/2 to empty in a few seconds) when I have about a half of tank of fuel. I think the bottom half of my fuel sending unit has an open circuit...
