I did the same thing. I've actually found that if the o-ring isn't lubricated enough, it tends to move a bit more when tightening. I get it where it is nearly dripping wet with oil before starting to tighten them down now. No idea if this is ideal, but it does work for me.
I finally did my first filter changes about 2 weeks ago. It took me almost 45 minutes of banging away at the engine mounted canister to finally get it to let loose. I literally had to put a cheater bar on my ratchet to put enough torque on the top to come off. The manual says it is only supposed...
I've had the AC on a few times in the past week with no issues. Today I heard a nasty grinding noise when turning on my AC twice. It sounded like a plastic gear grinding and losing traction against a metal gear. As soon as I touched the AC button it made an awful racket under the hood for a...
I'd suggest taking a look at tire pressure. When I have my tires aired up to almost 80psi to handle a heavy load and then I don't have one in the bed, my tires end up with nearly no traction in wet weather. Under 65psi I generally have no problems, wet or dry (and unloaded...). With how tires...
This has to do with sourcing incredibly cheap LEDs that are often mislabeled, over-powering properly rated LEDs, or not properly getting the right specs on the LEDs to begin with. In electronics, typically you over spec by 25-50% of the rating depending on the application.
I would imagine RAM...
Do you plan on modifying it in any way? If you do, avoid the new one with a nice warranty. I've got a 14 I bought new last year. I am very happy with my purchase. The 06 with a few mods will likely be able to get better mileage. The newer truck will likely have more power stock though. Also, if...
From a longevity point of view, I would actually hit it with some sand paper if it has been exposed to the elements for a week before you paint or cover it. A week is enough time for microscopic rust deposits to form, possibly macroscopic (visible) depending on air temp, moisture, salinity, and...
Are we talking about the same Mopar? lol
Spot on with traction though. People also don't often understand how much weight distribution play into that. That can be anything from the angle the vehicle sits at while trying to get traction or if the load is effectively pulling up or down where...
I kind of like the bold look of the front. Not so much on the back. Though at the same time, the grill reminds me of toyata/nissan hybrid, and that makes me like it less.
You see that word average next to the ones over those different trips? It wouldn't need to say average if it was total miles over fuel consumed. It could simply say Miles Per Gallon. Average, from a mathematical/statistical point of view (the point of view engineers have) should make you wary of...
If you were given a hammer and decided to use it as a screwdriver, would you be angry at the hammer manufacturer for not making it work better as a screw driver?
The MPG tool is evidently there to give you feedback on the recent MPG calculations. It is actually accurate for this. Fill up your...
You called me an *** using ridiculous para-quote from Oscar Wilde. I'm the one with a class problem though.
“But when assumptions are sometimes true. Then you're the ***, not me. ”
