Needing a alt. Guys, how about some suggestions. I know there is some big amp alt out there, but I think it was a couple hundred$$. Wanting to keep it under 200. 00 Autozone is 130. 00 not sure if I want a autozone alt though.

Will it make any difference if I get a cat-back kit, or a turbo-back kit for my truck? Like sound, performance, problems?

Turns out it was the shut-off, screws backed out of one side of the afc and let it lift off not engaging. His first guess was wrong and found the problem yesterday when we went looking around. But, sending unit apparently went out at the same time, seems odd????

Step-son's lift pump went out, and I'm wondering should he replace it with a parts store replacement or invest in a FASS or AirDog system. Looking for some opinions guys... . Cost worth it? Performance gain?

I'm no expert by far, but I'm going to say you'll do alright with that turbo. I went with a II PS62/65/12 and put in DDP4's. I was a little worried at first, but after install I'm glad I got the 4's. EGT's a little hot on wot (1350). I went with the smaller turbo for use as a twin set-up later...
