Batteries and connections all good.

I had the same problem with 06 just before going on vacation. ABS and brake light came on at the same time, in addition no speedo and no cruise control. Finally got to check connections. All positive connections loose after shop took plow off. Glad it died on me in driveway and not my wife on the road. Check engine light on with code 2509. Will have look into that now. Run fine though. Thanks again Gregg

I was driving up the driveway and my truck shut off on its own. I shook the wire from drivers side battery to fuse box and the power came back on. Is there a fusible link in that wire? This episode killed all the power in the truck. What is the best repair?

Added to this to avoid another tread. My trans temp hit 200 the other night coming home. It has never gone over 160 with that driving. Fliud (factory ) has about 40K since adding high cap pain and gauge. Checked fluid it is full and pink. I know that this temp is no problem. It is the new high...
