on the tone ring from the factory theres 3-4 degrees of slop... depending how it was installed at the factory it could be good or bad. my tone ring is advanced almost 7 degrees from the center of the stock position... i have no rattle issues, and exelent economy, average tank is 700-750 miles...
fyi, it took right at 35 gal to fill the tank... i shulda kept running it a while and got into the 800 club, but i get nervous about getting that low...

im guessing he dyno'd before/after and thats the diferance he saw. its not uncomon to have people see 75-85 hp out of a 50 hp stick if there old ones were carboned up.
