In the past couple months I've had upper/lower ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rods/ends, track bar, a '10-13 heavier steering box installed and it still drives like crap. The wheels don't seem to track right. Steering feels irregular/wandering. There is a lot of play in the steering wheel...

Supposed to be hitting the road this week, so this is fantastic timing... Over the past week or so, the ignition has been slightly irregular and about 1/4 of the starts have been delayed and kind of rough. Rather than the typical 'bing bang boom' startup, it's been more of a sputtering drumroll...

also, would NOW be a good time for some additional filtration? I'll poke around on here, but I'm not too savvy with what's what. Is cleaning the fuel tank something that should be considered?

draining the filter yielded less than ideal results. Looks like Irving's tanks are a bit rusty... There was some particulate on the bottom of the jar. A few pieces of 1/64" flake that appear to be rust. One chunk was easily 1/16" dia. No bueno. Check engine light went off. The major sputtering...

I run Diesel Source occasionally. Beyond that, just run what I believe is the best fuel in my area (Irving). The truck is only used to haul heavy loads once a month or so. I've been running loads of logs/firewood every couple weeks lately. It's mostly a commuter and light/medium load hauler...

Wertles, what is the $10 HDepot mod all about? Basically the DIY version of the PSM kit? The FBD exhaust (w/ Donaldson res and muff) seems reasonably priced. Whatever I get, I'm looking forward to doing the installation myself.
