no change is good . bottom end is solid . You may have valve sticking or a belt driven componet bad. TRY Removing serpentien belt. for a few. This will set a code or a light or both do to lack of charging not a big deal . Worth a try , belt removal is vary ez .
At idle, crack open each injector line one at a time and listen to see if noise changes or goes away. Repeat process for each cylinder. this will tell you if you have a bottom end problem .
try a lower jumper setting ,they come from the factory for max fueling, they start to fuel at 3 psi of turbo boost. A lot of power at low rpm. s without a lot line pressure for the tc to have a firm lock up.

Install a smoke generator
1 push button switch
1 fuel pump or tap your lift pump
1 oil buner nozzel
10 feet 14 gage wire
1 solinoid valve to turn fuel on n off
install nozzel after turbo

let the valvebody do the shifting. it shifts faster , smoother and it`s automated.
there are lots of mods available. also resale is better and to a bigger market. also anybody can drive it. dont know if that is good or bad!!! have fun/drive safe.

I talked to a tech at cummins mfg when i first bought my truck.
It had a loud noise in the valve train . the tech told me DC buys all there engines at a reduced price with no warentee. DC PAYS for all repaires. You would have to get an aproval from DC to have a cummins shop...

just my 2 cents, to maintain a constant 20psi with changing altituid, turbine speed has to change. A turbine engine is a derivitive of a turbo. If I take off with 50% thrust and if I want to maintain 50% thrust I have to increase turbine speed as i climb. not trying to flame anyone...

I had that tsb/ reflash done for low power . The current program in your truck defuels just prior to shifting not to exceed torque limits. Also converter lock up is vary quick once in 3+4 gears which will take a stock motor off its power curve. the reflash will do away...

don`t feel bad my 2001 =11. 6 mpg empty with winter fuel 12. 8 summer fuel. I belive retarted fuel timming is the cause. a timming box or a timming/ fueling box may help both of our trucks. my old 95 12 valve =17 city 23 hwy liked it so much i bought a new truck!! 12 valve motor...
