That's what my truck is doing. According to Insight the 2012 Laramie Crew Cab I ordered at the beginning of the month is now loaded on a railcar, headed to Texas! Delivery to the dealer is set for 9/6, less than 2 weeks! Oo.

I guess it all has to do with timing. I do know that sold orders get higher priority than dealer stock orders

Does anyone know of a website where you can track your order for a new truck? I just ordered a 2012 Laramie 4x4 and the dealer mentioned that some customers have found a website where they can track their orders through the line and to the depot. Wondering if any of you all have done this?

Yes, some prices are up, but some options are now standard as well. 800# is standard, the 730n stereo standard (at least on laramie), etc. Overall it's a little more, but not much for the same package. I just place my order.

I was told by several dealers that none of the paints in 2012 will contain metalflake because all the metal flake was made in the part of Japan hit by the tsunami. Has anyone else heard this? They are offering some of the same colors, such as sagebrush and saddle brown, that they did this year...
