2012 3500 DRW 2WD Ordered

I just ordered a 2012 3500 Crew Cab 2WD Laramie, DRW from Ed West At DSM,

It will have 6 spd auto trans, Max-Tow Pkg, side steps, adj pedals, all White, I will report back after I get it and do some towing with the 14,000 pound 5th wheel, my 05 has been with me for 7 years, I hope this one will be with me for 10 years. There is a lot of equipment that was optional on 2011 Rams, that is now standard.

What are the details regarding what is now standard with the 2012 ?



Do have those new front side seat airbags ?

I don't know all of what is now standard, but I do know what was once optional on what I wanted, they have all kinds of side air bags now standard, curtain air bags also, then there are additional side air bags for something like $81. , I bought them, Nav is standard, as is rear camera, sliding rear window is power, seats on drivers side has memory, and also sets the radio, and mirrors, there is more I suspect, but that part I know, some colors are limited, or new, I just wanted white, no problem, this sounds like a RV Hauler Rig for sure.

I'm just not cool with all the emissions stuff. They are absolutely beautiful.

I'm not real fond of them myself, but this truck, as my current one is 99% devoted to pulling the 5th wheel, so I think under that working condition, I doubt I will have any issues, my current one has been fine except for front end problems relating the the 4x4, and the 48RE trans took a dump, this one is 2WD, so that part is not there, and the new 6 speed should also be great.
