I took the battery terminals apart and installed military grade connectors. Haven’t had a chance to drive it yet. Also added grease to the interface between the battery posts.
Thanks

I'll work on the signature. Sorry. Spent a couple of Years in Tooling in he 80's. Wing jigs 27 and hten tooling 67 program. My Dad retired Flight test in 1993? somewhere around there.
So this started just after I got the truck home. I moved from one driveway to an other and the engine stopped. Restarted moved and stopped. Then ran fine. Week later and 1,000 miles into my get to know each other trip and the truck starts hick upping on the freeway going through Portland after 3...
O.K. Well I went over to the Smarty Tuner Forum, last Post was 2013, somehow I don't think that they are going to be a lot of help. Off to see if I can find a local source for Help.

SO I was able to download the Manual for the Smarty, Came with no documents. I found where you can set the Max PWM for the injectors. So I will find a hill and start to detune the injector dwell on time until I find an acceptable compromise.

O.K. so I broke out the Smarty tuner that came with the Truck and detuned from Smarty Fuel Economy to Stock Tune. No smoke when leaving the line, or maneuvering in Traffic with throttle. I did get lane chocking smoke when I was in Over drive and gave it throttle. So I can't lug it at all. Drop...
O.K. More Broth for the stew. Got up this morning to a light Sprinkle in Seattle. Truck is from California. So moisture is new to it. The Oil gauge worked for half the day then it went out on Strike again for the afternoon. So I think the relative humidity effected the 5 volt junction and got...
Hi all,
So I'm a weekdown he rabit hole and just completed a 1400 get to know each other trip with a Dodge 2500 4x4 rebuilt Auto Trans and Built Cummings. Hamilton Cam and oversize pushrods, FASS, ARP Head Studs... A real beast. So it has an Edge with Attitude on it and a Smarty.
When I...
Nope the Dash Gauge never did work. I verified that it had pressure with a mechanical at the filter assembly, before plunking my monies down. I purchased a $30 sending unit on eBay and screwed it in, no difference. A gentleman sent me a link to Mopar 1973 man and he suggest that the MAP sensor...
O.K. The plot thickens. Watched a You Tube on how to test the instrument cluster and the oil Pressure Gauge in the cluster, tests good. So with a new sending unit installed, that leaves me to the wiring. Just where I didn't want to go. I see on the schematic that the Orange 5 volt reference...
Hi All,
New to me truck. When turning the steering wheel there is a squeaking noise that sounds like it is coming from between the steering wheel and the column cover. I read the articles about the U joint and have lubed that with a penetrating oil. I read about a clock spring but have no...
HI All,
New to me truck, Has oil pressure with mechanical gauge. Doesn't have pressure on the dash gauge. Check Gauges error light lit. Laid on the Motor and changed out the Stock pressure sending unit. Connected the new one no Joy. Any idea's? I thought that Lucas only did wiring systems for...
