    Tom- Truck is completely stock, I have been around diesels (cars, trucks, tractors, combines) for quite awhile and am very familiar with turbo lag situation from experience with gas and diesel cars and this truck. Bought the truck new in 01. NPS I do not have a fuel pressure gauge. OK...

    01 2500 HO/6sp A few times per day I try to accelerate and no response. Motor acts like it didn't get the message for 2-4 seconds, then takes off with a vengeance if I am not careful with the throttle. While not responding it generates copious blue smoke. It usually occurs after coasting...
