Lets face it. If Ram had heavier bumpers from the factory would there be any payload left on a 2500?
I was not trying to be a jerk at all. I reread my post and it may have been in poor taste so for that i apologize. In todays climate everyone blames others for their actions. As men maybe we...
I drove a 19 HO yesterday. It was nice but not a huge jump from my 15. Not really even a small jump. A bit nicer interior maybe. After dealing with a Duramax with the CP4 and working on family CP4 trucks that had failure i am not ready to throw the dice. As soon as the CP4 is gone i am in on a...
So help me understand. You have mirrors on the doors, a mirror on the windshield, back up sensors, a rear view camera, a drivers license, years of experience, two eyes, and a brain. You hit a pole and damaged your truck and its FCA’s fault? Or should it be the poles fault? Or maybe we can blame...
You are not making oil. If the truck was it would not make that much that fast. I NEVER change the oil unless it sits overnight. Yes, i change it cold. These Cummins will drip for a week if you ever pull the pan. It takes forever for all the oil to make its way to the pan and a ten minute wait...
I have been interested in if the baking works on these smaller trucks. I know it worked well on our freightliner. It had band clamps that made it easy to get baked. IIRC it was done @ every 150,000 miles or as needed.
Genos has great filters. Sometimes on Amazon you get bootleg filters in a Mopar box. The dealership was likely fishing to find a customer pay situation where they could claim poor maintenance. Replacing a bad sensor should allow the filter to be cleaned. It was getting bad signals and not...
Fix the sensor. It was likely keeping it from fully cleaning the filter and move on. Or delete. There is a very good chance the filter is fine unless the smoke was from a crack that may have developed.
I had Michelins on a past 3500 2012 LML. They did ok but could not get off the pavement. Those Michelins also liked to dry out and look bad two years in. They also had a bad tendency to get sliced up by the granite and quartz we have here. The Nexens were also prone to this type of damage but...
A weak Aisin? LOL. The guys that deliver to our job sites have not broken an Aisin yet. I usually talk with them about trucks and have seen some photos of huge loads. One image was of a gooseneck with two backhoes being pulled by a 3500. I think my Aisin will be ok.
I had the Coopers installed and aired up to 80 front and 65 rear on the duals. Hit the corners at speed on the way home and holy crap. I almost wrecked the truck due to tread squirm. The squirm was extreme. The rear started coming around and when i tried to adjust slightly the front started...
Just ordered oil and air filters from Genos. They had/still have a 10% off fleetguard sale. Their fuel filter prices are inline with what i am seeing on Amazon currently and i do not have to worry about someone repackaging an autodefender filter into a mopar box.
I need the fuel filters before...
I have had my Cooper Maxx ST for several months now in the stock size. They are much better than the stock Nexens were. Tread squirm took 500 ish miles to go away. The rears needed 35 psi cold to fully contact the ground where the Nexens needed 65 psi. So far loving the Coopers.
