I just traded a 2006 six speed quad cab for a 2006 mega cab auto for the room. The truck doesn't pull near as good as the six speed. If i put a good transmission in it will it pull as good as the six speed. Using smarty on both trucks.

i had a 2006 megacab 3500 g56 put 16000 miles on it never seen more than 15mpg empty. around 10 pulling 6000 lbs.

Both Trucks Are O6's. The Mega Cab Has 3. 73 Gears With 235 Tires At 70 Mph I'm Running 2400 To 2600 Rpms, Averaging 13 Mpg.

Does smarty add just hp or does it also add torque?

i to have checked my mpg since new with a calculater . 15. 7 is the best i have got. should have left calculater in old truck.

i really liked the edge on my 02 but im thinking about getting the smarty is it easy to use? i drove from tn to texas last weekend about 2000 miles round trip pulling a 16' car hauler to get a mustang ran 80-85mph got 10mpg made me sick

Thanks,I have not thought of driving a different rig to see if i can feel a difference. Had an edge ez, 4" banks exhaust,and afe stage 1 on the 2002 with 3. 55 gears with 3. 15 mud terrain tires. Should there be be a big power difference in the 2002 and the new megacab?

2006 Megacab 3500 6 speed. 12500 mi. Traded in 2002 2500 6 speed had few mod. done to it. Also had 1999 auto. New truck is getting an average of 14 mpg with what feels like half the power. Truck feels like it does not get its power til 2400 rpm. Is all all of the new trucks like this? New...
