I need help with my steering for my 97 Dodge 12 valve diesel. The steering feels sloppy and the truck sways. How do I correct for a tighter steering?

IF my tach goes past 3200 rpm's with my 3k kit it won't hurT my valves or motor ? I have a DTT trans and after about 1year it started slipping. DTT is shipping me a new one . Looks like this weekend it will be put in. Ihope I can enjoy my new trans soon
