I've got 73,000 and it's time to replace a front axle U-joint and the hub on the other side. I still love the truck, but not that this happens this soon!

So I have a u-joint going on the drivers side and the hub on the passenger is going. I want a system that is direct bolt in. I prefer not having to cut any bolts. Spyntec with hubs?

I know that the aftermarket u-joints that I have purchased have zerks.

I was curious what is the life expectancy of the axle u-joints at the tires on an AA axle? I have a 2008 Mega-Cab 2500 4x4 with 68,000 miles. The cup on the drivers side u-joint is starting to oval out. Is this covered by the drivetrain or is the 100,000 warranty cover that? It still frustrates...

MerkelG I have not found that to be the case with my 03' VW TDI replace timing belt at 100,000, change oil, shocks and struts when needed. I have 282,000+ that is all I have done to the Jetta.

Do they have a "lemon law" and would it apply? I love my truck but your issue would drive me crazy.
