I did the job this past weekend. First thing that blew my mind was that the rotors on a dually are in board. This requires the removal of the axle shaft and hub (requires a special socket for the spindle nut). In board drums and rotors are an old school joke!! O you will also need two $25 seals...
I feel with the way vehicles are built today that the safe option is to make it the manufactures problem for as long as possible. At 75 to 80 dollars per hour and the price of parts $2000 for a extended warranty is a safe bet in my book!
I bouhgt this truck used with 17500 miles on it. Since the first tank of fuel I have only gotten 14 mpg. Not even close to what I get with my jucied up 97 with 205000 miles on it. Any thoughts?
