fuel pressure gauge
one other thing. .
I really like this gauge, because of the warning light that is programmable
I set mine to 4psi so I know whats going on, and hopefully can avoid bleed procedure if I ever do this again ( which I dont plan on doing )

So like a bonehead I ran my 01 3500 out of fuel the other day, and had a hard time searching for restart procedure, so I thought I would create a thread with all the "correct keywords" in the title so the next guy that does it can find this easily . .

I ordered the parts this morning
so the installation procedure is to loosen the adjuster bolt,
put the new parts in, and tighten band as opoole recommends?
"To adjust the 2nd band torque to 72 in lbs. then back off 2 turns and lock down the 3/4 lock nut. "

as for the gov switch and solenoid, I just involves dropping the trans pan right ? it does not require the trans to come out...

I did notice a few small metal particles on the tip of the sensor. .
is it magnetic ? if I have metal particles does that mean my trans is going bye bye ? how long do I have ?
