I have'nt thought about the Edge box too much, I will be towing in about 2 weeks and will set the box on one. I also just put on a FASS lift pump this past week. I don't think the pump will have any effect on the power loss or EGT temps. But time will tell. What did you mean by monitor backdown...
I have been driving around empty, with the Edge box set on 3. The truck has been running great, Eg's have been normal. I jumped on it from a stop light, and pushed it up to 70mph in about a quarter of a mile, the Eg went up to about 1000 degree's and went right back to 500 degree's as soon as I...
I have an Edge EZ Module, I tow on step two they say not to tow on three.
I don't drive the truck all that much about once a week, I have noticed the milage has been lower than in the past and the EG's are about 100 higher just driving around empty, than they used to be.

I have noticed that the last few months that the milage has seemed lower than normal, and the EG's seemed higher than they used to be(not allot 100 or so just driving around empty). I don't drive the truck...
The boost gauge looked normal during the towing, max boost was about 25 to 28 or less. When I was towing about 2 weeks ago with the slide-in tow dolly and car the EG's were up to about 800 to 900 max. Last year towing the slide-in and trailer and car climbing the hills on route 77 in virginia I...
I looked at the IC and the connections to the turbo and I did'nt find any leaks in the hoses that I could see. Some one said that you can get more smoke with a leak but I haven't seen any. The last time I towed I had my slide in camper that weighs 4000lbs and the car on a tow dolly and the EG's...
I just returned from a 1000 mile trip, pulling a 20 foot enclosed trailer and car. I had a loss of speed on climbing hills and higher EG temps, than normal. The truck also seemed to run a little ruff at times. There were no codes in the computer when I got home and after I filled up with fuel it...
Nothing new. I have been running this belt for about 1000 miles so far. Was just wondering if anyone had the same problem and their dealer had come up with a fix. A guy I work with said he had heard that they need to replace the whole belt tensioner to fix the problem. If it happens again I will...
On my 2004. 5 I have had two serpentine belts replaced at 10,000 and 21,000 miles by the dealer. The front 1/4 " of the belt gets torn off and raps around the fan. The dealer doesn't see any alignment problems. Has anyone else seen this problem.
