I've got '97 2500 4wd. How can I tell if I have 2 or 4 wheel ABS. I had a person pull out in front of me the other day and I stabbed the brakes pretty hard and blew out a brake line. Thankfully there was nobody coming in the other lane.
I was thinking of going with the Bosch 300's. I don't know how much more power it would give me. I thought of the 330's until I priced them at $151 each.
What are the biggest injectors I can go with before upgrading my stock turbo. I have a tst#6 plate currently and BHAF. I don't want to spend the cash on a turbo right now.
I tried the part # through cummins and they had them priced at $151 each for the kit. The other # was not a valid number anymore. Does anyone know what the #'s are for the 300's?
Do you need to upgrade to a bigger turbo in order to run 370's? Now I have a stock turbo on and I know that I can run 300's with no problem. I am running a TST#6 plate.
Thanks for the info. I'm going to order the guages now. When I bought the prime-loc system in 1998, I think you could get some regular pressure guages from them. But when I looked here recently, they had the guage like you have now. They are only good for filter replacement and not for diagnostics.
I have a Prime-Loc fuel filter replacement on my truck. I want to put a fuel pressure guage on the system so I can check the pressures. Prime-Loc has two ports to tap into. I'm guessing one is for pre-filter pressure and one is for post-filter pressure. I want to have a guage on both ports. I am...
Yes, they are cab clearance lights. There was not a wire in the a-pillar to hook them on to. The wire in the pillar was just a power plug. For what reason I don't know. I ran the harness down the pillar and hooked it into the park lamp wire coming out of the fuse box. They look great.
Does anyone know of a good place to get my pump timed? I live in Charlotte, NC. I talked to Cummins Atlantic and they would only put it back to the stock setting.
These are OEM lights. They are made by Peterson Manufacturing, part # V120A. You can pick them up at All Pro Auto Parts. It cost me $23. 00. I made my own wiring harness. I just don't know where to plug it in to the fuse box.
I'm installing clearance lamps on my truck. I got them from All-Pro auto parts and it comes with the lamps only. Not a problem because I'll make my own wiring harness. I just need to know where to hook the power wire to.
I am looking to upgrade from SRW to DRW. I am going to put on a utility bed. Where is the best place to get dually rims? Not too many people have them for sale. I also want to change the front hubs. What parts are needed to change the front end to accept the dually rim?
