i read this thread a couple days ago having this same erratic locking/unlocking problem and i changed my brake light switch and it seems to have cured. so thanks guys for all the great tips and ideas i was about ot buy a much not needed TPs before i read this thread :) -Jon

mine has a miss at idle as well but onyl whens its been driven alot and then sits for a min, and my diesel man says possible worn plumger inside the pump, my pump on my truck also has about 484k on it so a lil wear i expected

have you checked, delivery vlaves, orverflow valve, maybe a worn plunger on the pump, how many miles on the pump?

i run 3" on my 97 2500, but i think i had to put on 1 ton drums that are made for 3", i think thats about it got all my stuff from advanced auto.
