    TST box or Edge ???????

 I guess I need to research before I jump the gun sorta speak. Looking at the Edge website as mentioned the 2003 (555) is the missing one. My 1995 CTD had gages galore and back then I wished upon 1 single unit to select what I want shown & programable. with this in mind I am...

    TST box or Edge ???????

looking to upgrade my 2005 dually since I will be pulling a 44' car hauler. I know with my 1995 that was bombed it is a chain reaction of upgrades. After 3 auto transmissions & put in a complete BD auto box I presume with my 2005 if I increase the HP/TQ everything behind will have to be...

    Firestsone Ride-Rite Airbag insstalled today

I mounted a set of Firestone Airbags today and the install was so simple on my 2005 3500 dually. No drilling / special mods needed. Took about 1. 5 hous to put in :) Drove a bit with 15 PSI and was bucking like a bull unloaded. I will see & adjust when I P/Up the RV tommorow. Alan...

    u-connect

I too have the bluetooth option on top of the RB4 radio. It is so nice compared to any other "hands free" phone. When a call come in your radio mutes and on the radio display it will show caller ID / phone # along with a female voice that says "Incoming Call Press U-Connect to answer" Up on...

    Diesel Vs Gas

Have him stop in a RV park and talk to some gas truck owners and then he will understand about the pulling power up the mountians or even the cruising speed in the flat lands. I know many who had a high HP gas motor but they ended up to trade & go with a diesel for towing. Alan

    New Dodge 6500 Medium Duty

OK now since Y'all looked  Point is why is it taking Daimler Chrysler to produce one. Since Daimler Benz is the key player you would think it would be almost a given. When it comes to commercial vehicles, Daimler Benz has had a excellent track record. They own Freightliner, Unimog...

    Vacuum Assist Brake Controler Question

The trailer is vacuum assist and after speaking to the previous owner he had it set up this way. I purchased a 12V vacuum pump made by BlueDot rather than a engine driven one made by RedLine. The kit has a box that looks like a brake controller but it displays the amount of vacuum. I...

Towing with 2002,DRW and Lance 1030

Well I do not have a camper but to give some insight on flat towing a 2nd vehicle a few things to consider. On flat land it should be a easy tow. in the mountains unless you have a brake buddy I recommend to disconnect and drive separate. Also think about the oil circulation in the gearbox on...

    Firestone Airbags & B/W hitch on a 2005

I ordered from SUSPENSIONCONNECTION. COM to save a bit on shipping. OK next question :) What is a good running pressure in the bags for a max GVRW / loaded truck? The bag is say a max 100 PSI but I presume it is more of a butt & kidney factor on the driver more than anything.
