Glad that worked for you. Interesting set of codes there. Turbo boost pressure not detected and the same EGR code my truck threw on the first long trip with the truck. My confidence level in this vehicle is dropping...

The key for me was to make sure I cycled the ignition 3 times within 5 seconds. It would not work for me ever before I did that.

The technician is wrong. This trick works fine on my 6. 7L. I would be jumping up and down if I was getting 19. I got that one time on a trip but otherwise I run about 14. 5.

Interesting that the light went out by itself before I had a chance to take it in. I will still probably drop it by and see what they say at the dealership.

The code is P 245 A. Apparently this has something to do with the EGR. Guess I will have to take it in on Monday and get it figured out... :mad:

I just got back from a 500 mile trip averaging 55 mph over very hilly terrain up in the mountains and got 19 mpg. Prior to that I have been averaging 14 in town and some light rural driving. I have towed sparingly and was getting about 12-13 with a 5k camper trailer. Jason

Which line on this new transmission is the hot line going to the cooler. Is it the upper or lower? I have asked at our Dodge dealer here and also checked around for schematics without much luck. No one I've asked seems to know but I'll bet someone here does. Jason

I purchased a nice set of gauges with the A pillar mount. The gauges are ISSPro EGT, Boost, Trans. I have installed the wiring internally and the gauges, but the instruction are for a 5. 9 and everything is different on the 6. 7. Does anyone have nice pics of where to install the pyro probe...

Our local Cummins shop says that the oil should be changed around 2500 miles on a new engine (which is when my change indicator came on) and then whenever the indicator says the oil should be changed thereafter.
