I owned a Holy Grail truck 15 years ago. Biggest regret in my life was getting rid of it. Long story.... I'll tell about someday when I get the time.

This is a known issue with our 12V T-Stats! The rubber O-ring deteriorates over time and pieces of it will JAM in between the T-Stat opening!
This EXACT same issue happened on my truck last fall.

Worn coil springs will make a truck "wallow". When it "wallows" it will play havoc with your front end components and/or alignment. This very well cause the dreaded Death Wobble!
When I use the Vents on my truck, the air coming out is 15-20 degrees Hotter than the outside ambient temperature.
I have a thermometer placed in one of the vents and the digital temperture overhead display to compare the temperatures.
