2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Air from Vents 15-20 Warmer than Outside Air ???

When I use the Vents on my truck, the air coming out is 15-20 degrees Hotter than the outside ambient temperature.

I have a thermometer placed in one of the vents and the digital temperture overhead display to compare the temperatures.

Why would the air coming out of the vents (in outside air vent position) be Hotter than the outside air ??? Where is the air intake (for the vents) located ??

sounds like your blend door is shot and sticking in a warm position.

You may be pulling in underhood air when not set in the recirculate position.

I have it set on the Vent mode. I don't see where it would recirculate. ???

How do I get to pull-in outside air instead ???
