I was mandering if there was a aftermartket or a cheaper place to get a the front axle shift actuator for the four wheel drive on a 97 other than going to the dealer?
Thank you

From what I can tell with mine is that when it hits 7 psi of boost the propane kicks in. I think that it is on or off but I dont have my owners manual any more. I know that when you gas on it and blow black smoke and the propane kicks in the smoke goes away. I havent had any head gasket problems...
Yes you can tell when it kicks in because it gives the pickup a little jerk. If im driving down the road and shut it off and turn it back on i gain 2-3 psi of boost. It really cooled my pyro down, i have the #5 stop plate in my pump slid not quite all the way forward but more than the stock...
I have had propane injection on my pickup for 6 yrs/ 80k miles. I get better mileage 2+ mpg better and way cooler egt's. My system is a bully dog. Mine was 675$ when i bought it, be sure u tighten the **** out of the nut that holds the stinger in the intake because the nut will fall off and the...
what do u mean with the gov adj lever? What is the stud height on the gov assy? Is it internal or external? The woodruff key is back in? Also what is the difference between a automatic pump and a manual pump? Would the injectors out of a 215 hp do any good?

the 3k spring kit was a aftermarket kit that a guy had for his 98 but didnt want to put it in because he was already getting 3k rpms. But my pickup would only do 2750, so my friend that is a diesel mechanic pulled the 7/8 plug out of the side of the injection pump and tightend up the gov springs...
I have a 97 that had a automatic and i put a 5 spd and a u. s. gear overdrive in it. Then i tightened the gov springs in the pump to get more rpms and then i put a 3000 rpm gov spring kit for a 98 12v 5 spd and now it doesnt have the power it did with the factory springs, i also have the biggest...
I have a 97 12v and it was a automatic and i put a manual tansmission in it w/ a u. s. gear overdrive. Then I put a 3000 rpm gov. spring kit in it out of a 98 5spd 12v and now it doesnt seem to have the power it had with the original gov springs. Any ideas?
