    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) fass problems

The ECM is telling the pump to run for that length of time and THEN you can start the truck... ... The VP44 does not like any PSI at sart up otherwise you will get hard start issues. This is normal behavior no matter what temperature it is outside.

    Fass Low Fuel Pressure

you dont have to change it but it needs to be serviced. From what i understand, the isolators are filled with glycol. This needs to be changed on a regular basis (I do not know what the interval is) When you do change it you also need to bleed air from the isolator.

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission fuel backup in filler neck?????

The rollover vents are vents in the tank that are designed to close in case of a rollover, preventing fuel from spilling. If they become clogged, it will cause your tank not to vent properly. This is why you are getting the hissing sound when you remove the fuel cap. As to where to get them. . i...

    Fass Low Fuel Pressure

I too would suspect the gauge. Actually i would check the isolator on the gauge. They are notorious for going bad. As far as the PSI getting steadily higher throughout the day... that is because the fuel is getting warmer and is thinner, allowing it to move more freely in the lines. Check the...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Hard to start

It could still be a gauge issue with the gauge itself being ok. Check the sending unit of the gauge for any damage or debris. If it has an isolator or a snubber in the gauge line either remove it or check it for debris or air. I would also borrow a mechanical gauge from a buddy and see if both...

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission fuel gage acting up, help!

This is our HPFP Series and there is a port located on the pump itself. It is a small brass plug marked with the letter "G" or "P". Remove the plug and port your gauge This is known as a snubber and i would recommend you remove it and run a straight line from the port connection and the...

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission fuel gage acting up, help!

There is a port on the FASS system to port your gauge to. If you have the 95 Series LP it is located on the backside of the 90 degree brass elbow that feeds PSI to the engine. It is usually marked with the letter "G". If you have the 150 Series pump you will find this port on the back side of...

The DDRP is designed for stock trucks so most fuel mods will caus eyou to lose pressure. If you have any fuel mods you might want to consider either the HPFP series of pumps or our new Platinum series. With the Platinum... . you get the benefit of air removal and better filtration with a lower...

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) edge j fuel pressure sending unit with fass

Depending on which FASS system you have there is a pressure port built into the pump. 150 FASS System - Just above the fuel filter, attached to the filter base is a red or silver block or cube, It may also be a silver, hockey puck looking piece. On the back side of that is a 1/8" brass, allen...
