I always use the ebrake. Well 98% of the time. I recommend everyone do the same. Yea I think your buddy should just deal with the insurance co. , its really his own fault.

I will say that they do ride awesome. Rides really good , like i said in another post better than the bfg ta's they replaced. stiffer (less wander) no wobble. They only thing i dont like is the noise.
If that is of concern they the less aggress Nittos ought to be up your alley.

i am running this combo awesome setup. Much much better than bfg they replaced. The ride is great. The noise at speed sometimes bothers me though.
the tires like mentioned are load range e with a 3400 lb rating. at 65 psi
Got rid of the BFG on my ride and the problem went away. Like others have mentioned. The sidewall strength just isnt there. Went with Nitto's Load Range E and no problem.
