Nitto Mud Grapplers; 35x12. 5r18. Mounting on KORE Weld Cheyenne Wheels.

"Load Range E" stamped right on the side!

Can't wait to get 'em mounted. Waiting for the wheels to arrive and the lift/level to get installed (lift on Tuesday 12/21; wheels and tires Wednesday 12/22 or Thursday 12/23).

What is the actuall weight rating? I bet it is not much more the my range "D" BFG's. Check it out. The BFG's are 3195 lbs. Thats almost 6400 lbs for the rear axle. Any more than that and you are overloading the vehicle anyway.

Bet they will look aawesome. I have heard some say these type tires wipe out the mpg? Let us know. thanks, Doc

Weight ratings are misleading. I've looked at D and E tires; sometimes the D has a higher or equal lb rating then the E; but the E has more plys. More plys = less flex and a 'higher' (letter) rating.

We'll see about the mileage! Of-course I'm lifting the nose a bit (leveling kit) so that won't help either.

i am running this combo awesome setup. Much much better than bfg they replaced. The ride is great. The noise at speed sometimes bothers me though.

the tires like mentioned are load range e with a 3400 lb rating. at 65 psi

Weight rating and load range rating are really two different things. Those "D"s with the higher capacity won't tow nearly as well as the "E"s because the "D"s side walls arent nearly as stiff.
