I just had this same thing fixed on my 2004. 5. Cost was about $800. 00. They kept the truck for a week. Had to take it back because they left the heat control switch unhooked (after they told me they checked everything out) Had to take it back 2nd time because they pulled the dash lights loose...

Where did you adjust your cable? Mine has gotten out of adjustment and won't encircle the "P" for park and the alarm goes off even when it's in park. I really don't want to have to take this to the dealer to fix if it's something I can get to.
