One thing we can all agree on is that it’s going to be interesting to see how the deleted trucks withstand the recall repair. I’m reading now Stallantis is predicting May before parts are available.
I wonder how the computer software update will affect the delete crowd? With the tuner boys out of business or deep underground, this could be a real conundrum for those with alternative tuning.
If I used my truck to put food on the table and the factory fix isn’t even lightly penciled on Rams calendar, I’d be more concerned with a busted truck then a potential warranty claim.
I’ve read on other venues that Stellantis had been reimbursing some owners that have replaced their CP4’s with aftermarket conversion pumps.
That may be worth investigating.
One can only wonder how long it will take Ram to get the affected pumps replaced; years? Not just the parts availability...
For a major auto manufacturer to change(and basically revert back to the older pump) after just 2 years, it was apparently more than the ‘19 & ‘20 owners knees and teeth chattering. My guess is FCA & now Stellantis employees in risk management and the bean counters in warranty claims were also...
