    It's all mine

I just paid mine off last month. I got the title a couple of days ago. Good feeling, it was a long haul. Due to Cummins Ram values I have a nice investment sitting in the driveway. 2013 Big Horn Dually, Aisin, 4.10 gears. kk

    Cold. So Cold.

I have the grill cover that came with the snowplow package. I use it when it gets cold. I think it is good for the engine to warm up quickly. It also prevents the truck from cycling the thermostat so much. My '98 would do it so bably that the heater would go from cold to hot and back to cold...

    New Recall V06

This recall appears to me to be one of those that Mopar has done to protect themselves from frivolous lawsuits. Every little thing seems to warrant a recall these days. For those people who are two dumb to notice that something isn't the way it should be like a steering wheel going off center. I...

OIL LEAK on my new truck! It can't be!

My 2013 doesn't leak a drop, neither does my Harley. A lot of the so called leaks on older Harleys was due to the automatic chain oilers that did a terrific job of marking the bikes territory. Now my old '98 12V was a different story, it not only marked it territory quite well it also kept the...

180 Amp Altenator or 220 Amp Altenator?

I've got a question. My truck has the snow plow package which includes the 220 amp alternator. I got the alternator recall and had the alternator replaced. How do I know that I got another 220 amp alternator? I don't need that big an alternator but I paid for it. I would also guess that a bigger...

    No parts for recalls yet...

I had an appt scheduled at a dealer to have the pump inspected. I had something else to do in town while it was being done, so no big deal. Then the second appt was cancelled so I called the dealer to see if they would just replace the pump, because after my inspection I found that it is the...

Video worth watching of wreck recovery

I used to drive a tow truck from time to time for a friend who had the AAA contract where I lived. I would have blocked the landing gear on the trailer and lifted it over the truck. Used our F450 to pull the truck out and put it on it's feet. Then drag the truck up on the rollback. Then hook the...

    Thoughts on a new truck

I have the Aisin and I don't find it to be rough when running empty. I think the computer has a learning mode in it and since I generally drive it gently when not hauling it shifts accordingly. When towing I am not afraid to put my foot in it. I have also heard first hand experiences that the...

    grill cover ?

I run mine even when it warms up. I have never had any issues. I wouldn't worry about it. If the cooling fan kicks on then you should probably take it off. kk

    Bad News for most

If I were to replace my truck I would probably go with the big Hemi too. Nice truck. kk

    Baffle

Diesel Power Magazine did some flow tests a couple of years ago. They found that the stock intake flowed just about as well as the best aftermarket intake and better than most. Chrysler engineers know what they are doing and have the best equipment to work with. kk

T05 - SCR Emissions Recall - Anyone got this fixed yet?

I dropped my truck off yesterday. I will pick it up today. It had 4 pending recalls, steering column wire, side airbag, track bar(?) mounting and SCR. They said it would take awhile so they kept it. They gave me a rental, wound up with a Jeep Compass. Very nice car, has the MultiAir 4 cylinder...

    Exhaust brake / cruse control

Sometimes when I pull over and let the truck idle for a few minutes and then resume travel the exhaust brake won't work even though the light is on. Sometimes it comes back on within a couple of miles, sometimes not. In which case I have to stop and shut down the truck and restart quickly so as...
