It’s was acting up before the oil change. I put the amsoil in thats recommended by them. Is there a different amsoil people use?

so i want to install a auto meter Fuel Rail Pressure Gauge And unfortunately t calls for stripping the wires going to the pressure sensor. Problem is there’s no way to slide heat shrink on to seal the splice. JUST BLACK TAPPING IT IS NOT A VIABLE OPTION... does anyone have a solution
