just a rapid fluttering sound... ... kinda like shuffling a deck of cards but much louder. you will know when you hear it.

he needs to stop driving it or it will just get worse... . expensive. pull the head, it will tell you everything. and have injectors tested.

coolant/oil mixing... . no, nothing. oil was fine, coolant was fine. just the fluttering noise at wot. no need for compression test i knew i had serious problems:{

it could be the return fuel line on back of head leaking. i had a fuel smell with no visible leaks and found it to be the bolt holding return fuel line on back of head.

i found the upper rad hose clamp was stripped and not holdin tight. so i installed a new one and now no more leaks.

My coolant was low#@$%! How could I have over looked that?:confused: Oh well... . all is good now.
