As I understand it - when you let off on the throttle to apply the exhaust brake, the internal transmission pressures drop. The decrease in transmission pressure will allow the torque converter lockup to slip - not good for the converter.

I agree, the Edge site is slow (at least tonight). Was also looking for jumper settings on their site but had no luck. I read an article somewhere that identified the EZ settings. It included the amount of fueling/timing at prescribed boost pressures for jumper positions 1,2,3. I...

I thought EZ jumper position #3 put the EZ in operation at 0 PSI boost. I also have medium injectors and was thinking of going to EZ position #2 to delay EZ operation.
Maybe I misread the EZ instructions - anyone know for sure the operating functions for EZ jumper positions 1,2,3???
I was thinking of removing the silencer ring for while to evaluate the turbo whistle for my liking. I have read a lot of warnings not to replace the silencer ring without purchasing a new retainer clip.
Is the retainer clip a dealer item????
