I been fighting this same battle for about 6 or 8 months. After going thru 4 of the lines you're talking about it can tell you that it's about $52 from cummins. Easy to replace. As far as the stud/bolt issue. If you figure it out let me know. I'm betting a new timin cover is what it will take.
The studs that hold my cp3 kept working their way out. Replaced then, red locate etc. Then one broke off down in the hole. Tried putting locking nuts on the studs and locktite. Tried going with grade 8 bolts instead of studs. Was planning on putting helicoils in the next day when the fitting...
Reverse is out as well now. Tried backing uphill with too much load behind me. Anyway, would somebody be so kind as to point me in the right direction as far as parts for rebuilding the OD unit. I don't have the funds right now to pay someone to do it so looks like i'm going to have to tackle...

Update. I hooked a gauge into the OD port on the left rear side of trans. It read zero psi in drive until i hit about 25-28 mph at which point it jumped to 30 psi. There were no changes in pressure regardless of speed after thatbpoint until i slowed down to under 10 mph at which point it...
Ok wired in the mystery switches. One for lockup and one for OD. When monitored with multimeter while driving. Both have 14v starting out. The LU jumper grounds out to . 1v - 0v at around 40 mph and a slight bump is felt, almost feels like a light shift. The OD jumper grounds out to . 1v-0v at...
