took off the cluster and cleaned the two harness on the back w contact cleaner but they looks very good... w the cluster in position sometimes it illuminate and sometimes not; if I move it a bit it illuminate and function good for a while... maybe its a contact problem on its back... pins and...

ok, now when you bump the starter the pump does not run at all, exactly?? check fuse. check connection and check if you have electrical signal at the pump wiring with a tester(when you turn the key to on) truck wont start?

also download the BD diesel instruction for their valve bodies! very helpful. I've removed the valve body on my 47RE last weekend, done a very good and clean job! my first transmission job! rob

Dropped down the valve body today, just for cleaning, found a BROKE ACCUMULATOR SPRING in the 3-4 Acummulator Housing in the lower valve body! I think this is my problem. The broke spring has damaged a bit the piston... now looking for parts. .

I've an AutoXRay EZRead 1000 code scanner but I don't know if it works good with my cummins; No code from the OBD II.
