I installed those on my truck a couple years ago.I used relays and came off the battery. Good lights, but moisture tends to get inside the light housing...Robert

I went with the 96 sensor because the 96 rear end has fins on both sides of the sensor hole that would make the 98 plug difficult to install because the plug in are on different sides.I just had to cut and solder on the 96 plug that came with the rear end.everything is working well. ....thanks...
