If its what I posted thats my best guess from the listing I got off a Dodge site. Its like anything else, we trust it until proven wrong. The damper is a source of discussion at times. If you had one and your not racing, I would get it. Thats what I am going to do when I order mine.

Think I will get one ordered.
Will need it sooner or later anyhow, and this truck rolls 5000 miles a month doing emergency service calls to the class 8's.

I would think its APPS related as well. But I personally have no experience with them as my truck doesn't have one. But its probably starting to stick, it would explain all the symptoms.
