Ok, tire wise the toyo’s are rated at 4K per tire at 80psi so that is fine (I think)
I agree that a 3500 would be a better choice. Maybe I should rethink my trailer option.
Thank you guys! I value the opinions.
I’m looking at upgrading to a 37’ toy hauler and I don’t want to kill or have to purchase a new truck just yet.
My truck is a 2018 2500 ccsb and I have added firestone red label air bags. The trailer I’m looking at is a 37’ voltage triton toy hauler and it’s at 13k dry with a 3k pin.

I’m in the market for new tires. Currently I have 295-70r18 Toyo AT2 on method 18x9 wheels.
The new tires I’m interested in are Nitto ridge grapplers. My main question is: The 295/70 is a pretty high load 129q and the “12ply” F rated 35x12.50 is 128q...why does the 12ply have a lower load...

Thanks guys! I appreciate the advice.

I will be putting it back to stock because I don’t...
Well we’re from California, our next job is in Boston (one congress building).
We have never been further than Nevada, my 2018 Fam is my DD. Any tips as far as winter driving other than good winter tires? Do our trucks handle salted roads well? (Use gravel in our mountains)
East coast guys...
So after driving about 100 miles today...zero leaks. The lubelocker gasket and copper washer on the drain plug have been flawless.
I will keep you guys updated.
So I used a lubelocker gasket instead of RTV...we shall see how it holds up. Might have to pull it off again and reseal if it doesn’t work.
For those of you that use RTV, does it have to be the mopar version or is the black permatex safe to use?
