I find routine maintenance, like oil changes and such, therapeudic. I could care less if I could extend intervals or not as I get the secondary uses such as heat, out of the old oil.

I am referring to the practice of listing the base price on the sticker with the engine/drivetrain. I know they have done this for years and is a pet peeve of mine, nothing more. $50+ grand for a truck with no drivetrain would be silly, now wouldn’t it? Base price should show for the model...

Pistons cracking can result from not cooling down properly after a hard tug…..even on a stock motor. Do not fret about the tuner remarks. A bone stock anything can go boom without proper use and care. Your truck, build it and enjoy it.

True. And it takes a certain amount of fuel to do a given amount of work, only thing that can change is how efficient it is doing it.

So what I am seeing, the 25’s mileage isn’t anything to get excited over…..just fill the tank and go. My 2021 consistently knocks down 19-20 mpg. Once in a great while I can squeeze out a 21-22 number when the stars are aligned just right.
