There’s a hose between the pipe and the tank. I cut that in half, removed a few inches and put the rollover valve/tee in. Worked fine for the last two years.
All I have to do is replace the hose and it’ll be completely stock again. I’m going to pick up the hose tomorrow because I need to sell...
Apparently it wasn’t the update that done it then. I’ll have to reset the radio and see if that fixes it. I wonder if that wipes anything with Nav, like saved waypoints and such?
The #715-1213 looks like the one I use. Mine took about a pump and a half with a pistol grip grease gun before I some come out. That’s with 25k miles. I doubt the dealership was doing it with the first 4 free oil changes even though they say they did all required checks and maintenance.
The...
The maps have slightly more contrasting colors than before which is nice. I didn’t go through the themes, I think it had at least 6 or so originally. The texting interface with the phone is a little different, maybe just graphically.
Other than that and moving a few icons, I haven’t uncovered...
This is why I’m a member with the TDR. I was almost late bringing my son to school and then later spent 20 minutes in the Walmart parking lot messing around with controls, settings and buttons trying to figure out what in the world happened with my Easy Exit/Memory Recall feature. Did a search...
I would also like to know this. I went with 75-90 because I read the same thing. I like that it’s a tad heavier than the recommended 75-85 and it’s the same as whats listed for the 4500/5500. I almost went with a 75-110 but figured I’m more than covered with Syn-Power 75-90.
I was going to wait until 30k miles to change the lube in mine so it’d fall in line with the transmission oil change. I’ve only got 2.5k miles towing a 12,500# fifth wheel so I thought 30000 miles more than prudent. But I started getting a chatter when making slow hard turns (without towing...
Unless they changed something since the 2015. You're not actually selecting the gear to run in with the button. Your selecting the top gear. So if you select 4, all shifts including and below 4 will be normal as if there is no selector at all. But it will not go above 4 to shift into 5 or 6...
Go into the settings menu and then suspension. Choose "Tire Jack Mode" this will disable the system until you uncheck tire jack mode or reach a speed over 10 or 15 mph. I do this every time especially when unhitching. If the pin gets hung up when extending the landing gear and the truck starts...
I agree on the nomenclature confusion. It's Siri Eyes Free and Apple Car Play. Then there's Android Auto which is the full blown integration for them and comparable to Car Play. I don't know of the Siri Hands Free Uconnect equivalent for Android's Google Now which is their voice assistant.
To...
I wonder how long I'll be waiting. Wonder what the order of who gets picked is? Doesn't seem to be by build date.
It was there before. I didn't know it until a few months after I got the truck. My youngest picked up on it and asked about it since she likes to be the navigator and select...
I know when I get near my truck with the fob in my pocket, I hear little noises and small stirrings. I guess the truck starts waking up when it smells the fob. Is the door lock/unlock thing mentioned just waking things up that didn't wake up normally? Is this happening on keyless entry and...
Marcionne did float it out there that he'd consider spinning the division off I believe. As Colonal Kurtz once said, "the horror... the horror...

I've never had any issues with hunting either. I've never had to lock out any gear and don't use tow/haul when not towing. I'm more than happy with the performance slow and fast. No lugging and always in the right gear. The only complaint I've got is a hard 6-5 and especially a 5-4 downshift...
