    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 3.54 to 4.10 Gear Swap

    I was also thinking of eventually going to a higher gear ratio. I have the stock 3. 54's in and when I am going up a hill in 6th gear with a loaded trailer it really drags down. I have done a little research and I think I will probably go with the 3. 92's over the 4. 10 due to carrier restrictions.

    The first thing I did was to put on the 4" exhaust due to I wanted to lower EGT's and pick a little more power with faster spool up of the turbo. Then I did the EZ and boy what a difference that made.
