Ok i've got the gauges and the BHAF, I've put in a pusher pump. Where do I go from here? For a muffler I've got a Hooker Aerochamber 3", which is a straight through muffler. I'd like to get an Edge EZ or something equivilent, or should I go with a 4" exhaust? I found a web site that outlines the order you should do mods and it says do the ex before the chip. Was wondering how many of you did it that way. Also if I get the chip, how long will my clutch last? I bought the truck with 120,000 miles on it and have no idea how many miles are on the clutch, or how it was treated. The guy that had it before me had a gooseneck trailer, hitch is still under the bed, so I'm sure the truck was worked. I also don't know about 5th gear and I don't want to lose that right away. I've been saving my money for 4 months now and I'm ready to explode! I need some more mods, help me out?:D

There is a good article by Ted Janetty under the "frequently asked questions" listing at the top of the page. With just the EZ I think you would be fine with the stock clutch & exhaust. My stock clutch holds the power of EZ without trouble. The EZ is well named & the power will make you smile.

Either a box or injectors is next. Your 3" exhaust with low restriction muffler is good up to 330-350 hp range, which is the point where you will need more turbo.

The first thing I did was to put on the 4" exhaust due to I wanted to lower EGT's and pick a little more power with faster spool up of the turbo. Then I did the EZ and boy what a difference that made.

Get an idea of your FINAL goal for power and adjustability, then go from there. Either box or injectors will add something noticeable, but if you're aiming for 500hp the selection will be different. IMO, an adjustable box (Comp, DDUFM, PM3, etc) is nice for the option of different settings for towing, racing, cruising, etc.

My real aim is MPG. I have 33's with 3. 54 gears and if the T-Rex I orderd ever shows up:rolleyes: , I'll have 35's. I want more torque and MPG. Right now I get 16. 5-17MPG.

If MPG is your goal, then here's mu suggestions, aside from the usual spiel of tire pressure, speed, driving style, etc...

1) Mach 1. 5 EDM injectors. 85 hp and better mpg.

2) The EZ has a little more aggressive bottom (from what I am told, as I don't have experience with the P'nP), and the EZ has about the most timing of any mild (non-wire tap) box.

The EZ and 1. 5 injectors should let you stick with the stock intake and exhaust even. It's a combo good for right around 350hp, so you're at the edge of the stock parts (intake, exhaust, clutch). The 1. 5s and EZ will also give you HUGE bottom end torque.

If you're going to run 35s, don't expect 20+mpg.
