Diesels do not have butterflies to control air flow. If you get on the pedal hard it dumps the fuel in. More fuel=more air intake=more boost. The engine wil not idle down until the fuel is gone. The smarty had me turn my key off and hit the right arrow button a couple of times at the end of the programming to the truck. This differs from the instruction book. Did I do something wrong. Trucks starts and runs fine.

Waiting for Marco to get the program updated as DC just released new software for my '06. I had it at the dealer Tues. for CEL and they updated the ECM.

I got may smarty today, read the directions and plugged it in and got message UNKNOWN SOFTWARE. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Per My conversation with TS Performance when I was planning on purchasing the TST PMCR they do not need to reprogram it for the PMCR and I am assuming that is the same for the Smarty. Correct me if I am wrong.

Ordered my Smarty today from TST for my '06. My MP8 will probably be up for sale in classifieds very soon.
