I have 2 of the original little giants, and they are great ladders, I don't know anything about the new style, but unless they have made some great changes in them, the werner is almost as good for a lot less money. Just my 2 cents worth.

I have noticed on mine that the fan clutch don't even kick in until the gauge on the edge hits 215-217, just running down the road 65-70 mph with a/c on, 100 degree day pulling our 16k 5er mine will run between 215-220, egt's 800-900.

I agree with NIsaacs and Prairie Dog, you will never have another truck without it, I use mine all the time, even running empty.

I agree with George, if the trailer brakes are not setup properly, or not working at all, a jackknife is inevitable under a hard braking situation. I also agree that this is not an ideal TV-TT setup, I wish we new the model of the TT, we could run some numbers and see if he was within his GVWR.
