    David, I have a dealer installed in tank pump with 100k miles on it. With Vulcan big line kit (1/2 inch). Goes from tank to vp44 and has 12 lbs at idle and 9at WOT.

    You’re right. But where? I have seen several members with frame rail mounted setups but they must have used shorter filters. Thanks for comment.

    I have added a fuel filter (spin on) cat 1r-0750 to my 2001 Dodge Ram 3500. I used the two seat bolts for drivers seat by replacing the bolts with longer and fabbed a bracket. Now filter is 7 inches long and extends down about 1 inch less than transmission crossmember bracket. Can’t find filter 2.0...

    I have 2001 Ram with dealer installed in tank lift pump. I plan to install fuel filter on or near frame rail and do away with 0EM filter. My truck is ‘stretch cab’, not full four door.
