Truck is 06 with Goerend trans. Not much else at this point- just try to keep it cool with 5" turbo-back and CAI with Banks intake elbow (and gauges of course). I just added a nice 3-micron fuel filter system, too, hoping I prevent another injector!

Feedback on what, Aaron? When I get good stuff, I applaud the vendors: Goerend, TST, Alligator Diesel, Colt Cams. I can name some bad ones too, but tend to not bash unless it's really awful. And yes, I tend to buy stuff from local vendors! Oh, I just noticed the vendor link in your signature...

Just rebuilt the Cummins (stuck injector :{), but had the shop put in a Colt "Big Stick" cam while they were there. I'm hoping the towing EGT's will really be lowered as much as claimed, but I can tell you spool up is SO much faster and I haven't seen a puff of smoke yet. Oo. So, big thumbs...

Mine just started the same thing about 2 weeks ago- I thought my motor was surging also, but when I shut off the fan, everything is fine- it's just the vibration from the fan. Did you find any resolution?

I just wrote this in another post also, but when I had transmission problems, I had Goerend parts sent to Trail Transmission in Mesa, AZ- and was very happy with the install...

When I had issues which needed to be fixed ASAP, I had Trail Transmission in east Mesa (AZ) install Goerend components (which Goerend overnighted), and I'm very happy with the results. If you need more info, please PM me... good luck!

Thanks, guys. I much appreciate the thoughts. It's looking like something at the back of the transmission per the dealer- they're still diagnosing but they're saying it's nothing related to the triple disk Goerend TC or VB, or to normal operation in general, just some weird glitch they've never seen...

Towing across flatlands earlier, 13K trailer on behind, cruise on, very little power being applied, and the transmission just lets go. I had the same problem on my 06... you need to call TST and get their kit which keeps the fuel pump running during cooldown. It fixed mine! (They tried to charge me $25 for the kit, but I refused because this should be included to work right!!)

Thanks for the heads up, Snoxracer. I'm always intrigued by more power, but this makes me realize I need to stay away from programmers, as I can't afford an overjealous dealer denying me warranty claims which are clearly in their court. I also think how everyone views their warranty coverage...
